Underwater Videography
If our stock video imagery
is to be used in a video production, we require a Licensing Agreement
with standard language to include a provision for end credit.
Generally we charge $1000/minute or fraction thereof with a 2
minute minimum. For on-location projects, our fee is $750/day.
This is to be paid prior to each day of "shooting".
A "day" of "shooting" is 7 hours or less on
a vessel or 3 SCUBA cylinders (80 cu.ft) or less. Additional hours,
or fractions of hours, are $85/hr. or $150/additional SCUBA cylinder
over 2; whichever is greater.
Under
no circumstances do we penetrate past the sport diving limit of
130 feet, nor do we do any diving that requires mandatory decompression
stops. For dives greater than 60 feet, we require that a NITROX
air mixture (to be determined by us) be provided for us from a
local dive shop of our choosing.
Additional terms may be applicable
depending on the type and nature of the project. In any case,
these will be discussed and spelled out in a written agreement
well in advance of any work performed so that all parties involved
have a clear understanding of their respective duties.
We encourage interested parties
to contact us by
email to insure our availability.
In
addition, our staff is available to provide underwater digital
video services to private groups or individuals for both day,
night dives or other special activities. Prices vary depending
on what we are asked to do and for how long. Generally, the price
range is from $250 to $500 per charter or per day. There is an
additional charge for any extra copies of tapes (VHS). It is difficult
for us to be more specific, so if you have something in mind,
contact us and
we will quote you a price after you give us some details.
For those of you who require
it, we guarantee privacy. We have had the opportunity to work
with celebrities in the past and understand the value of it. In
these instances, we have provided them what they ask for and blend
into the surroundings. We do not ask silly questions, seek autographs,
or tell ANYONE that you are on the island or where you are staying;
nor do we make any attempts to interact with you beyond what is
required to deliver the product or service you seek. We (very
clearly) understand that you want to relax from a difficult job
and complex life that very few people outside the entertainment
industry understand.
