| My name is Karina, I`m 23 years old. I was born in Brazil and moved to California when I was 15 years old. Right now I go to San Jose State University with a major in Hospitality Management with emphasis in Travel/Recreation. At the beginning of this year I was planning to do something different during the summer. I wanted to experience something exciting and fun, but that could also benefit me with college at the same time. So, I was searching the internet for internships connected to travel or scuba diving when I found Dolphin Dreams. It sounded great, and for a second I thought: "if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is." Well, I decided to check it out anyways. I thought many times before I clicked on the 'send` button and authorized the application fee to be charged on my credit card, but there was a little voice at the back of my head saying "Go for it." And thanks to that voice, which I believe it was God`s, I am here today. Now you are probably asking yourself, "so, is it too good to be true?" Hummmm... I will tell you a little bit of my first week here, and then I will try to post a weekly journal with my experiences, that way you can have your own opinion. |
