| In the afternoon we went out to the ocean, where Julia was getting certified as an Open Water Diver. I only snorkeled because I had not been diving for a year, and thus needed a refresher on the pool before diving in the ocean. At night, I helped Ryan, another intern, at the Harbor with Martina`s Scuba gear, and tanks. Thursday, Jim took me to the pool for a refresher so I would be able to dive the next day at the field trip. Friday, Jim took us all diving. We left the house at 8am to the harbor in order to load the boat so we could be on our way to the dive site by 9 am. On the first dive he let me hold an octupus. It was incredible! That little creature is so cute, and soft! |
